WE COME TO YOU!

We are a house call veterinary practice for dogs and cats in Calvert and most of St. Mary's counties. We offer the convenience of quality veterinary care without the stresses associated with traveling to the veterinary clinic, such as: patient anxiety, motion-sickness, traffic, inclement weather, a crowded waiting room, aggressive patient-to-patient interaction, and disease transmission (kennel cough, parasites, or worse!).

We are designed to help lessen the burden for clients who are disabled, elderly, have multiple pets, or are just too busy to go to the veterinary clinic. We can also ship medications, food and supplies to your door with a simple phone call, fax or online request.

Dr. Kristina Darnell graduated from the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine  in 1998 and has been practicing in southern Maryland ever since. She established Darnell's Mobile Veterinary Service in February of 2009 in response to the numerous inquiries for a mobile vet in southern Maryland.  She likes to take the time to get a complete  history, do a thorough physical exam, and tailor the vaccines/tests/treatments to each individual patient as needed. She enjoys working with owners who love and care for their pets wholeheartedly! She treasures the bonds she forms between her patients and clients and hopes to build on them by offering personalized and compassionate veterinary care in their homes.  She is also a strong believer in at-home euthanasia, at a time when a pet needs comfort and compassion the most.

She lives in Lusby with her husband, two 11 year old lab-terriers, and newly adopted 15 year old cat.
